How does a monthly accounting service work?
- DAYS1–3
Bank statement upload
The accountant uploads the bank statement into the system and checks it for salary and dividend payments.
- DAYS4–10
Payroll calculation
If the company has employees or dividends were paid, the accountant runs payroll, calculates taxes, and files the TSD payroll return.
- DAYS8–10
Document reminder
The accountant requests any missing invoices, receipts, completion certificates, contracts, and other source documents.
- DAYS11–15
Processing invoices and bank transactions
The accountant processes source documents, matches them to bank transactions, and reviews them under our internal control procedures.
- DAYS16–20
VAT review and KMD filing
The chief accountant reviews the VAT calculation, confirms it, and files the KMD return.
- DAYS21–31
Month closed
The chief accountant posts closing entries. Reports are ready, everything is recorded — on to the next month.

The Nola Startup plan is designed for active startups. For €69 per month + VAT you get:
- legal address and contact person;
- Preparing and filing the annual report
- Monthly accounting
- invoice generator — unlimited sales;
- Accounting for up to 30 expense invoices per month;
- up to 3 bank or fintech accounts;
- VAT returns (KMD, VD) and OSS services;
- multicurrency;
- payroll calculation for 1 employee in Estonia;
A separate charge of €3.50 + VAT for the use of accounting software will be added to the monthly invoice.
Nola Startup is suitable for companies that:
- are actively raising investments;
- have more than 15 purchase invoices per month;
- use multiple banks or fintech platforms
- work with foreign currencies;
- have 1 employee in Estonia and need regular payroll processing.
If your company has more than 1 employee, you can add the Nola Employee option — €10 + VAT per month for every additional 3 employees. This lets you scale your accounting without switching to a more expensive plan.
At the beginning of each month, you receive a reminder to upload documents for the previous period into the Nola Accounting system. We accept PDF, JPG, PNG files and electronic invoices from fintech platforms (LHV, Wise, Wamo, etc.).
- VAT (KMD and VD) — monthly or quarterly based on data from Merit Aktiva;
- Income tax and social tax on salaries (TSD);
- Accounting for dividends and other payments to participants;
- Corporate income tax on distributed profits (22/78), if applicable.
If the number of documents exceeds the plan limits by 25% for two consecutive months, we will suggest switching to the next plan, Nola 3.0. You will receive a notice in advance to plan the change without any additional costs.
